Accessibility statement.
We want every resident to be able to use this site. Last reviewed July 2026.
Our commitment
AHFL, part of the Affordable Homes For Life Group, aims to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA across this website. A home for life should come with information everyone can use.
What we have built in
- A skip-to-content link, semantic landmarks and a logical heading order on every page.
- Visible keyboard focus, and every menu, form and dialog operable by keyboard — including the search palette (Ctrl/Cmd+K) and the cookie manager.
- Light, dark and system themes, with colour contrast checked in each.
- Text that scales with your browser settings, and layouts that reflow on small screens.
- Reduced-motion preferences respected for animation and transitions.
- Labelled form fields with clear, specific error messages.
- A quick-exit control on domestic-abuse support content, so you can leave the page fast.
Known limitations
Some photography is still being replaced with final commissioned images, and some downloadable assets may not yet be fully accessible. If you need anything on this site in another format — large print, easy read or a different language — ask and we will provide it.
